Reviva is being created by Ian Dickinson, who believed that retreats deserved a setting designed with as much care and intention as the work happening inside them. A well-travelled and friendly Northerner, Ian has spent over 20 years working in financial services change management around the world, gaining deep experience in understanding people and processes, and implementing new technologies and infrastructure.

He knows first hand how important both physical and mental health can be, which is why he feels so passionate about this project. The opportunities Reviva can offer for people’s bodies and minds are abundant, and he is eager to share them with like-minded partners, guests and investors. Ian recognised the powerful energy that emerges when groups with a shared purpose come together in a meaningful environment. Seeing how the right setting can elevate connection, creativity, and personal growth is what first inspired the vision for Reviva.

What began as Ian’s search for a space that balanced beauty, calm, and functional design soon grew into a much larger vision. Reviva took shape around real retreat needs, with flexible space configurations, dedicated movement facilities, restorative outdoor areas, and an atmosphere that makes hosting feel effortless rather than overwhelming.

Ian founded Reviva with a clear intention: to build a venue that genuinely supports the people who lead, so they can focus on their purpose and their community. Today, his vision is being woven into every detail of the property and will infuse every experience hosted there.

Reviva exists because one person recognised how retreats could feel different, more considered, more supportive, and more human.
